General purpose test cables

 

General purpose test cables are widely used cable products in fields such as electronic testing, with multiple characteristics to meet diverse usage requirements. In terms of connectors, this cable offers various types of connectors, including 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm, SMA, G3PO, and GPPO. All connectors have an impedance of 50 ohms and a standard polarity. Moreover, the connectors have multiple installation methods, including straight and right - angle types, which can be flexibly adapted to different device interfaces.

 

Product introduction

 

In terms of material selection, the central contact, external contact, and main body are made of materials such as brass plated with gold, beryllium copper plated with gold, or passivated stainless steel, which have good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The dielectric is made of PEI or PTFE materials to ensure signal transmission performance. The central conductor of the cable is silver - plated copper - clad steel, the insulation layer is solid PTFE, the shielding layer is composed of silver - plated copper tape and copper wire, and the sheath is made of FEP material. This not only effectively shields interfering signals but also has certain mechanical strength and environmental resistance.

 

Product application

 

During the research, development, production, and testing of communication base stations, mobile phones, satellite communication equipment, etc., general - purpose test cables are required to connect various testing instruments to communication devices to ensure stable signal transmission, so as to accurately test various performance indicators of the equipment, such as signal strength, frequency characteristics, transmission rate, etc. For example, in the construction of 5G base stations, this kind of cable is used to connect signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other equipment to precisely test the radio - frequency performance of the base stations, ensuring that the base stations can provide stable and efficient communication services.
