Description

Hand Formable Cable Assemblies Semi-flexible Coax is a high-performance semi-flexible coaxial cable assembly that plays a crucial role in multiple fields. This product is crafted by a professional team. With its excellent design and reliable performance, it meets the needs of numerous industries. There are various cable specifications available, such as 047", 086", and 141".

 

In addition, the product offers multiple options in terms of connector types, impedance, polarity, mounting methods, contact and housing materials. The connector types include 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm, SMA, G3PO, GPPO, MMXP, etc.; the impedance is 50 ohms, and the polarity is standard. There are diverse mounting methods, and the contacts and housings are made of materials such as brass plated with gold, beryllium copper plated with gold, and passivated stainless steel to ensure good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.

 

Product introduction

 

There are series such as the FR701 & FR702/GUT-047-Form 047" series and the FR711&FR712/GUT-085-Form 086" series. Products from different series vary in structural dimensions and electrical performance. For example, the inner conductor diameter of the FR701 & FR702/GUT-047-Form 047" series is 0.29±0.0127mm, while that of the FR711&FR712/GUT-085-Form 086" series is 0.51±0.0127mm. Corresponding attenuation and power data are provided for different frequencies. There are also multiple common models and technical indicators available to meet the requirements of different application scenarios.

 

In terms of electrical performance, the center conductor is silver-plated copper-clad steel, combined with a solid PTFE insulator and a tinned copper wire outer conductor. It features low capacitance (95.1pF/m), high propagation speed (70%), and excellent shielding effectiveness (< -100dB @ 1GHz). It has a strong power handling capacity. For example, it can reach 10 watts under the conditions of 18GHz, sea level, and VSWR1.0. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +165°C, and it complies with the 2011/65/EU (RoHS) standard, being environmentally friendly and adaptable to various environments.

 

Product application

 

Due to its characteristics of being bendable and having excellent electrical performance, it is widely used in fields such as communication, electronic devices, and test and measurement. In scenarios like on - site detection of communication networks and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, semi - flexible cables are used as temporary connection cables. They are easy to carry and operate. They can quickly establish test links between different devices, enabling efficient completion of detection work.
